The concept
The brief was a wedding that could be remembered in detail. Every guest was seated within eight metres of the fire. We designed for closeness first and grandeur second.

Design story
We worked with the haveli's existing terracotta and lime plaster, adding only marigold, ivory ranunculus and hand-thrown clay. The gold appeared once — in the ceremony vessels — and nowhere else.
Decor
- Marigold garlands strung by a family workshop in Bagru
- Hand-thrown clay lamps set along the arcade
- Block-printed cotton floor seating in natural dye
- A single mango-wood ceremony platform
