The concept
A wedding stripped of formality. Ira and Devan asked for one rule: nothing that would stop a guest from sitting on the floor. We designed low seating, soft structures and a schedule that moved with the light.

Design story
The palette was sun-washed — bone, driftwood, pale clay — with a single deep burgundy accent in the table linen. Structures were built from bamboo and raw cotton so the sea remained the loudest thing in the frame.
Decor
- Hand-tied cotton canopy over a driftwood mandap
- Low brass tables with woven floor cushions
- Dried palm, pampas and locally grown frangipani
- Hurricane lanterns set directly into the sand
